WORLD CUP 2019
The 12th edition of the World Cup cricket will
begin from 30 May 2019 and will end on the 14th of July 2019. This
time the world cup will have 10 teams with Afghanistan being the 10th
team to enter the world cup after winning the world cup qualifiers beating West
Indies in the finals. The format of this world cup is single group with each
team playing other nine teams once in the first round. Then the first eight
will move to the quarterfinals and final four will enter the semi-finals.
Winners of the semi-finals will play the finals on the 14th of July
at Lord’s ground, London. England and Wales will be hosting the tournament for
the fifth time. The first match of the world cup will be played at The Oval,
London between England and South Africa.
