Kumbalangi Nights Late review

There are many stories that will penetrate into the audience mind and attach predominantly to understand the bliss, tragic minutes and the life of the characters shown all together. Debutant director Madhu C Narayanan's Kumbalangi Nights is one such astounding film that makes the audience feel realistic and good.

The story elaborates its characters through the first half. We are made familiar with four siblings, who live in a crippled house by the backwater side of Kumbalangi.
Saji (Soubin Shahir) practically relies upon a Tamilian (Ramesh Thilak), who acquires a living by pressing clothes on roadside. Bobby (Shane Nigam) is a lazy lad, who does not like to work. Bonnie (Sreenath Bhasi) the mute one, spends more time with his group of friends playing music and boozing. Franky (Mathew Thomas) the last one who is more responsible of the four, tries hard to bring in brothers together. There is Baby (Anna Ben), who has a small affection for Bobby. And after that, Shammi (Fahadh Faasil), who has quite recently married Baby's elder sister, is a super star in his own way.

These characters are genuine, a long way from impeccable and takes after a portion of those individuals, whom we as a whole have seen them around us. With an elegantly composed content by Shyam Pushkaran, debuty Madhu C Narayanan presents a crowd pulling story, which interestingly shows the happenings of a specific period in the lives of these characters. The visuals by Shyju Khalid, the music by Sushin Shyam and editing by Saiju Sreedharan is a class act with no waste scenes added.

In one of the best showcase of acting greatness, Soubin Shahir just changes totally into the character that he is playing. Despite the fact that more insights regarding his character shows another shade of him, in an astonishing way. Shane Nigam, Ramesh Thilak, Anna Ben, Sreenath Bhasi and the youthful Mathew Thomas are great in general. But, it was Fahad Fasil who is playing a guest role as Shammi has nailed it with his performance.

The final touch about the movie is that it is a must watch with great actors combined and super script added. So, as an audience who have not watched this packet of freshness and beauty, please do watch in cinema theaters near you.
